You've learned to hide so well, pretending someone else can come && save me from myself. -------------------- he warned as he stepped back farther to the wall again, and this time there was no false note of pleasantries or faux smiles in his tone: his eyes glinted though there was no moonlight, and flashed a deep red once. His form quivered. It was almost time. --- “fucking Archer, you idiot, you would,” she hissed under her breath, stuffing her hands into her jacket pockets as her sneakers made small, almost inaudible steps as she trailed behind a few other girls that seemed to be making their way into edge of the city, towards a lone building of some sort. They didn’t look like they knew each other, but her ears had caught word of ‘Club Ice’ and ‘DJ Mikkel’, which made her eyes narrow and an uneasy growl slip through her throat: of course, of course she knew the second she cornered Archer in the Club and ordered her to go home, what would she do? Disobey, like the brat she was. For the love of all that was holy, Kaleigh Black did truly love her little sister, but that said nothing to the promise she swore to bring her back to La Push with her tail behind her legs if it came down to it. She had lost Archer near the club night’s end, hadn’t seen her being spoken to by the mysterious young man that had enamored and been praised by many clubbers alike, and only caught sight of her again ducking away into the night. She was nineteen, for christ’s sake, only a year younger than her, when the fuck would she learn? Something could happen… again. The wind picked up and whistled furiously in her ears, and she shuddered. She walked faster and discreetly behind, letting the small group of girls lead the way. --- Figures I’d be first. The young girl’s hand lingered on the heavyset handle, ignoring the sweat on her palms and inner psyche telling her something didn’t feel right. It was just guilt, she reasoned, feeling bad over completely disregarding her friend’s pleading for her to stay in ‘just one night for once.’ The fact of the matter was that what Casey didn’t know wouldn’t hurt him, and this was hardly venturing out into the darkened streets just asking to be taken advantage of. She could hear the distant footsteps of girls behind her, and that was all it was, really, an after party; she’d been to plenty before. Still, something pulled at her gut and uneasily willed her to look behind her, seeing the oncoming faces of about four other girls, all older than her, and she calmed her nerves. She wasn’t a little girl. I can do this. This wasn't an act of teenage rebellion or justifying everything she'd done up to this point, this was living, a god damned act of self isolation, independence, that she could do this on her own. Whether or not Casey hovered, or Aly ignored her, or even Harper begged her to turn back, it hadn't mattered. What mattered was the cold breeze biting her skin, the colder set of uncomfort clouding her judgement as she paused for a moment. Ryan waited the few seconds it took for the others to reach her before turning the door's handle, letting the darkness swallow her as she finally stepped inside. [/ul] -------------------- APPAREL kaleigh.samson.ryanne.parker.MUSIC leave out all the rest - linkin park WITH everyone listed. Emily had never gone to an after party without a friend or her cousin in tow. She let out a sigh as she pulled her jacket tightly around her. She'd rather be doing something else, but she'd just gotten a call from Amelia, who'd adopted her daughter. Apparently she'd found out where Emily lived and she'd proceeded to bring Kaelie with her. She'd just wanted her to have a good life, and her new parents were perfect for her. So why'd they have to hurt her like this? ( I doubt West knows. ) Amelia had a knack for leaving her husband out of the loop and while she was the picture perfect ideal of what a perfect wife was, it was clear her resentment had grown visible to even herself. Tonight wasn't about appearances or wanting to lose herself in the conventional way, no, tonight was her only way to escape the tearing memories of her past in the form of one beautiful little girl. She subconsciously stroked her stomach without clearly realizing it as she paused with her hand on the door. ( You can turn back and face reality, or you can go on: choose. ) As she slid through the entrance of the warehouse, it was clear she'd made her choice - Emily Black wasn't going to face her past, not now, not tonight, maybe never.
---
Alex hadn't been planning on even facing Keller again, but after their initial confrontation and the fact that he still wanted to protect her, it was inevitable that he'd end up following her to make sure she didn't get herself into trouble. It seemed however that she'd managed to find herself in a hint of something he wasn't fully able to understand. This 'after party' he'd vaguely her references to wasn't a party at all. From what he knew, it was a select few, and when that few included Keller, his natural instinct of worry only heightened. After parties were known for their exclusive lists, but a list of less than twenty? That was a big red flag. Even if this turned out to be some odd new sensational thing, he wasn't letting Keller so blindly let herself go into something so stupid. However, he was already too late. Maybe if he'd followed his gut sooner, he wouldn't be arriving what he knew was much later than she had, or at least to him it felt like an eternity after. She'd lost a baby, their baby, and he knew she couldn't handle much more. His world so unknown to her fragile human psyche would only crush her further, and with the stench riding on the wind, and the chill in the air, it was obvious: something very out of place was happening, and it was anything but normal.
---
Sarah's fight against her genetics had been going on for what seemed liked her entire life. The constant doctor's appointments and tests upon tests were suppose to be a preventative measure, but all they'd done was create a stirring feeling of dread as she'd wait weeks for her results from her idiot doctors. The last phone call hadn't been the one she was hoping for. "Miss Madison....." The pause on the receiver had confirmed her worries. "We didn't catch it in time.... I'm so sorry." He'd went on to tell her how they'd still try. When she saw her family, or the doctor, her silence spoke words she could not. ( I've had tons of tests. How couldn't they find it in time? ) Despite the pain of knowing she would die, she couldn't cry, she wouldn't. Mostly though, she didn't know how to anymore. She'd cried to much in the past to let it happen now. With so little time left, the tears were only useless, wasteful even. That was why this night was important. She wasn't worried about giving up the partying anymore, or the need to stop drinking. It didn't matter. She was marked for death no matter what she did. Some people would have told everyone, cried, lived their lives to the fullest - Sarah couldn't. Her life was a joke. And the one person she wanted to get close to, well, she just couldn't hurt him, couldn't let him know that she was diseased and going to die. Die from a cancer they should have found, that they should have known about. She walked through the door, not bothering to care that the cold chilled her very bones. She held her head high in the face of uncertainty, even though her spirits were down. She looked around. "What's going on?" Sarah had been to a lot of parties and after parties, and this one wasn't a party at all. All of her nerves screamed for her to run, but her fear froze her in her tracks.
---
It was suppose to be her job to protect Ryan. Even with all the fighting that was going on and the breaks of friendships between them and Casey as well, it gave her no right to disregard her obligations as her best friend. She'd also promised Casey, that while he was out of town, she'd watch over Ryan. She'd been doing her job just fine, staying far enough away. After all, it'd given her another reason to do something, anything to avoid the fact that her father was back to his old antics. She couldn't fight him off anymore. She didn't have the strength. That, and the way her step-mother looked at her, and the smell on her so similar to her own, proved that someone her defenses would end up costing her more than if she just let it all go. ( I'm an idiot! I should have paid more attention. ) It wasn't entirely her fault, and truth be told, she was definitely going too hard on herself. Ryanne was known for being the perfect invisible girl if she wanted to be. Somehow, Alyson had lost track of her. She could follow her scent though, and the sense of danger in the air was making her skin crawl. All she knew was she had to run faster, because any second could be too late. And Alyson Fisher wasn't losing another friend, no, not again.

It did seem a little odd to Keller, the fact that there was such an exclusive after party guest list. The night's chill made her hug her jacket closer around her body as she searched for the building. She spotted a few other girls heading into the large, very dark building and figured that was where she was supposed to go. "What am I getting into..."The blond mumbled to herself as she walked up the the large doors and reached for the handle, that was freezing under her warm palm. This was supposed to be her night out, her first night out in months. A night to forget about all of the shit that was clouding her mind lately, and let herself have some fun. Ever since Alex got back and her meeting with him she'd been completely unfocused. Opening the door she had to let her eyes adjust to the darkness before she spotted the other girls that had arrived. "I hope I'm at the right place..."

How the hell he managed to get himself dragged into the party scene, at some sort of club he still found the details blurry. Well, he remembered his sisters arguing at some point, seeing as how he had been a creeper remaining near the bar, and then watching as Archer snickered and slipped off into the crowd. A groan had escaped him, and Jacen Black, the only male sibling of this part of the family seemed to know just what would be happening later that night. He would have to listen to tons of screaming and the two of them going back and forth, and then some how or for some reason he would speak up and get dragged between the two of them. Part of Jacen thought that this had all been part of Archer’s plan to defy Kaleigh, just to get that sort of reaction from her, to show her sister that she could do what she wanted, even if it meant getting the younger under aged brother of hers into a club. “I really, really need to stop letting the two of them drag me into these things.” Running a hand through his hair, by this time however, he had found himself wandering the streets, supposedly heading towards this place that some DJ had told Archer about, and for whatever reason Jacen had agreed to go with Archer, even if it was to only make some sort of appearance, and of course push this whole rebelliousness that Archer felt towards Kaleigh even further.
Oh yes, this was going to be a very, very good night, and if it meant that Archer would be able to continue it for as long as she needed to, than she definitely would. Especially if it meant pissing off Kaleigh, her sister had started to become even more so like an over protective mother that still didn’t know when it was time to let her little baby bird fly from the coop. Of course, this baby bird was considered to be an adult by the United States, but when it came to the black family household, this seemed to be the farthest thing from the truth. “Let’s see her hunt me down to this place, jeeze.” Archer mumbled under her breath, sweeping the long brown bangs from her face as that smirk of hers seemed to come to her features, and glancing towards her brother that smirk became a grin. Nudging the male, she shook her head, “Come on Jace, lighten up a bit, it’s just like a party thing, it’ll be fun.” Archer stated and rubbed her arms as a small gust of wind seemed to then pick up. “Oh yeah, fun that’s the word I would use for this, it’s just another excuse to grind up against guys, and to piss off Kaleigh.” She could hear Jacen grumbled and watched as he looked around once more. “Yeah, and those two things are something that you should start doing as well.” And with that, Archer came up to the door of the warehouse, biting the inside of her cheek before then pushing open the door and moving in.
Something was most definitely wrong, on so many different levels, ever since Samson had come to town, Leo had felt unsettled. Unnerved and like there was always going to be something jumping out, that there was something about to happen that he would be unable to stop. A low growl came from Leo as he scanned the streets, his instincts seeming to kick right back in for him, he would have to be alert at all times. There was no way that Leo was about to let anything happen to Emily, and he knew that she would be there. He just knew it, and that made him even angrier, fueling the territorialness that was now pumping through his veins. He felt like Emily was his, and to see that Samson was just going to come right up to her, and talk to her like how he had, to invite her back to the wearhouse, that was completely unacceptable. Well, at least as far as Leo was concerned anyway, there was no way that another Vampire moving in like this, out of nowhere was simply here to have a good time and DJ. No, there was something else going through that asshole’s head, and Leo was going to remain as close as he possibly could.
ohohsea; will do coding later.

It was cold, too cold even compared to the night air outside, and a shiver found its way down her spine as she felt something brush against her back, and she might have asked what (and if she had not been human, might have noticed the smell of a sick sweet belonging to an immortal), if not for the quiet creak of the door behind him flying shut, seemingly on its own accord. Now completely enveloped in dark nothingness, she felt herself fall back and bump into another girl, she didn’t know who. Too startled to apologize, her brows knit together and she cleared her throat to rid herself of sounding her age, fifteen years old and freaked out. Still, the sound of another stutter gave her slight hope; she wasn’t alone. Stepping forward and tentatively reaching out, her eyes vainly tried to locate who had initially spoken. “Yeah,” Ryan answered, sounding wavered but still somewhat composed, “Yeah, I did. What’s going on?” --- As she had rounded the building corner, the unmistakable click of a door being shut made the hairs on the back of her neck stand, and a string of curses fly from her lips as she sprinted to the front, turning the handle to no avail. “Of fucking course this would happen,” she growled after several seconds to no good resolution, and turned to face the watching eyes of another kin she was going to give a piece of her mind to. “You! What the hell?” Kaleigh crossed her arms, visibly fuming and ready to release it on the most nearest person, who happened to be Jacen, “You’re the one I’m not supposed to grow gray hair over! Go home!” Scowling, she glared steadily at him, then at the locked door, before running off towards the back of the building. Archer wasn’t going to be partying till dawn, not again, not night after night if only just to piss her off further. The warehouse was huge, and it took several moments of sprinting to reach the back, but that wasn’t what caused her stomach to drop and a heavy feeling to settle in her throat. She closed her eyes, the smell invading her nostrils. Vampire. No. Not again. She dropped her shoulder and began tackling the door. Oh. Hell. No. Shaking the door at least a couple of times, Jacen tried to open it and just as he side-stepped he felt his stomach drop as that oh so familiar scent came to him. Oh no. Not at all the person he wanted to find himself being caught by, especially not when it came to him being alone, and now without Archer. Without of way of actually being able to get to Archer, and now he was with Kaleigh, oh this was just perfectly dandy. He’d have to remember to thank Archer once she actually got back home, he was sure that wouldn’t be at least until six or seven. ”Ahhhh…Let’s take a breather now Kaleigh, not do anything that we may end up regretting sooner than one would think.” though of course these words would probably just end up floating right past her, and of course they had. Listening to her comment, and then the order of being told to go home, of course, this was something Jacen had been planning to do in the first place. But, there was just something that seemed to unsettle him, waiting a moment once she had sprinted off, Jacen moved off to the side, scanning the top of the building, looking for another way in before he moved around to the side, quietly sniffing the air.
“Ugh, lordy, what kind of place is this?” grumbling under her breath, Archer tried to get at least some idea of where she was, sticking one of her hands out in front of her. Now wishing that the werewolf in her had more of an ability to see in the dark, well at least while she was in her non-wolf form. But she was stuck with her current state, and it was not something that made anything easier for her, a chill rolling down her spine. Something was definitely up, why would someone be invited to come back to suck a dark place, wouldn’t he have set up at least some form of lighting? Biting the bottom of her lip, Archer took a few more steps forward, bumping into the side of the wall before she started moving towards what she at least thought was the middle of the room. Though whether or not it actually was, Archer was uncertain of it. But maybe if she kept on moving, than she would be able to find someone, anyone, for that matter.
Leo felt another growl come from his lips, the warhouse only a couple of steps from him and as he watched the female werewolf attempt to open the front door to on avail he ran towards the back of the were house. Not at the time even caring if it meant that he would use his speed that was completely unnatural to the humans, and he indeed made it towards the back in a matter of seconds, fists clenching when he picked up the scent that he knew belonged to Samson. “What the fuck are you up to?” He hissed as he moved towards the back, inspecting it closer as he looked for a way in. This, this was one of those things that he had been worried about, and now it was becoming much clearer. Glancing to the side when his nose wrinkled at the foul smell and looked to Kaleigh as she came around the corner, and then that was when he noticed the back door. Quickly he moved over to it, trying the handle now.

As Alyson stepped onto the scene in front of the factory, she saw two people she recognized from the people in the pack, but not always so directly. The unmistakable look and sound of Kaleigh and Jacen Black struck her through as she heard the frantic and upset words of the former. It would appear the main door had just closed and locked, and that they had no way in, to see, understand, or possibly save their loved ones inside. She ran off after Kaleigh as she sprinted around the building to find another entrance. The obvious smell of vampire coming from inside the building made Alyson's blood boiled. She was glad that although she was younger compared to some of the other werewolves, she at least had a good amount of control as she'd learned over her time in her house. "We've GOT to get in there. NOW" The words came out almost as a growl. The tension was building, and as they reached the entrance in the back and realized it was also closed, Alyson rammed into it immediately. If the anger wasn't flooding her senses, she would be crying. She wasn't losing someone else she cared about. Not again. This wasn't happening. The door didn't budge, and she started pounding with all her might barely leaving scratches in the strong metal that consisted of the door. She stood back helpless as she looked around. "shit. No windows. Nothing." She was talking to herself and barely recognized the fact that anyone else was there. Right now, she was a slave to her emotions. And until her best friend came out of this alive and unharmed, she wouldn't see clearly.
----
Alex followed quickly as people he knew of or knew really well ran around the building to find a way in. His anger exploded, but he held back his phasing, knowing he'd need to do it at the right minute. The thick stench of vampire, humans, and other scents mixing filled his nostrils as he ran. He saw how Alyson tried to ram the door. She was smaller than him, actually the smallest of any of the werewolves he'd known, but her firey temper and loyalty made for a good one. "That isn't any use." He looked around, trying to think quickly on his feet like he'd always been able to do before. This time, all of his reasoning was clouded by the feelings of need to get to Keller, and the anger of wanting to rip apart the vampire that was obviously only out for a nice snack. Keller wasn't going to be a leech's snack, or anything else. As Alyson moved away from the door out of helplessness, he rammed into it with great strength. It still didn't budge. He banged, yelling curses and also pleading in some ways for someone to open up. Most of it was inaudible, but he would try regardless. "There has to be a way in." The clear demand and anger in his voice rang more loudly than he would have expected it to, but he didn't care. Someone he cared about was in there, someone he loved. --- Sarah knew she was going to die, but the creep factor from this place made her skin burn in worry and warning. If she had to die, she didn't want to die here, in the dark, without the people she loved. A few tears slid from her eyes for the first time in a long time as she thought about all of the things she hadn't managed to say to the people she cared most about. ( You'll beat this Sarah. You will. ) She didn't believe it, not any of it, but she had to hold onto some hope. For the little bit of her life that was left, and the hope that she could tell the people she loved everything she hadn't said. Her silence had been purposeful even as her friends and her family begged her to break down, scream, cry, talk, do anything. She could only sit there and stare blankly at them as they pleaded with her. Right now, she wished she'd done all of that, because through all the strength that she'd pretended to have in the face of the cancer that was about to kill her, she had no strength for any of this, for the unknown death that could possibly meet her in this creepy and dark place. --- Another girl's elbow swiftly hit Emily in her ribs as she tried to gain footing and see anything in the dark that was enveloping them all. She'd learned a lot from her family members about being in dangerous situations. The girls' conversations were only making things worse. "Shhh. Listen." If they weren't smart, they'd all be dead. She knew that much. Her hands trembled as she attempted to muster up courage, bravery, and strength in the face of darkness and danger. She was irritated and scared, but no one, no matter who they were would get the satisfaction of seeing her cry or beg. It wouldn't happen. The distinct ring of her cousin's voice made her stop in her tracks. She forgot her own instruction to the other girls as she whispered in a clear rush. "Archer?!" What was going on, and why were they in this situation. Emily wished she'd turned back, and faced her private demons, because right now, she feared demons more sinister than her own, lurking somewhere in this very place.[/blockquote]

This is way too creepy for my own good. Keller thought to herself as she continued to feel chilled, "The only way I saw in was through that door..." She spoke, her voice not much louder than a whisper. Part of her felt that if she spoke any louder that the ceiling might cave in. She pushed her hair behind her ears and looked around, standing closer to one of the girls so she didn't feel so vulnerable in the abandoned building. Keller nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard all of the loud banging from outside, "Jesus Christ." She said harshly in the open room, her heard beating a million miles a minute as she stood there with them all. "Okay, I think now is a good time to start looking around maybe? Get the fuck out of here that's for sure." Her body was pumping adrenaline through her veins and her limbs felt like jello as she started to walk from the group a bit.

You've learned to hide so well, pretending someone else can come && save me from myself. -------------------- was all she spoke to Leo, frowning as the handle wouldn’t budge on that, either. She hadn’t known him, but his smell, the same icy smell that touched her nose uncomfortably was not the one she that had riveted such a violent reaction earlier, and that was what made all the difference. She was only vaguely aware of others collecting around her, ramming the door with all strength capable of a werewolf, ignoring the impact the blunt and bruising thick steel door was probably having on her shoulder as whoever else was barricaded in there lay heavily on her conscience. Flashes struck her mind, hotter than searing lightning, of a broken, lifeless body being left on the forest floor, eyes that had once laughed with her, that she had grown up admiring with every passing year. Spencer… It hadn’t mattered if her only sister left was a brat and drama prone and overall just god damned selfish, there would be no repeat tonight. There would be no déjà vu of walking in on her everything being reduced to nothing, because that was family was to Kaleigh, everything that had never ceased to matter in this world. On her side, she eyed curly hair and warm eyes, looking as fervent and unsettled as she, the same person she had ordered away not moments ago. “Get out of here,” she repeated again, tearing her gaze away from his as she continued her assault, her voice betraying her agony; she couldn’t put her little brother in harm’s way as well, not when if she could help it. Like how she could have somehow found Archer before she went in, or before Spencer engaged in a battle destined to lose… nothing would happen like that again. Never. Finally, the door’s hinges broke with the aid of two other werewolves, and Kaleigh nearly flew in as she composed herself, blinking as blackness invaded her senses, smelling nothing but the sick smell of another vampire and bleak emptiness, metallic and dreary. “I can’t smell anyone familiar,” she murmured, partially to herself, partially to the others that also lingered in the entryway. Her eyes fell on the dim moonlight’s aid revealing a staircase, and Kaleigh gestured the others forward as her legs raced up the stairs, loud and unstable, but she would risk more than a sprained ankle or a broken leg to get to her sister and the others inside. She’d risk her life, if she had to. Slowly, a gentle laugh trickled throughout the room. It was rough as it was mocking, as if there was a delivered punch line no one had got but the receiver, and Ryanne felt sick to her stomach as the voice carried through the room, seemingly from nowhere. “Give it another half minute, girls. We've got guests.” She felt herself back into one of the girls, the one that had spoken with the accent. Ryan had no idea who she was, what she looked like, where she came from, but in the light of the situation, she trusted her, at least more than the male voice that had an vast hatred in the depths of his voice, angry through nonchalance. She grabbed the other girl’s arm, tight and hanging on as if she held answers. “I don’t like this, what’s happening?” she asked, more of a whimper in her low tone, yet the following chuckle assured her that somehow, she was overheard. Maybe even standing in front of her for all she knew. “Don’t be scared, sweetheart.” Her form began to tremble. He heard everything, he was hearing everything being said? Samson felt a smile play at the corners of his lips. Three… two… The slam of another door being forced upon alerted the rest of the room’s occupants, and by the smell invading, about a good five others. There was frenzy, and alert of voices crowding, calling, searching for particular namesakes ( “Alyson?” “Archer, get – Emily?”) but within moments the room’s interior lit up, revealing old wooden flooring and bare metal walls extending the cavern and vast expanse, each four of the walls containing several rooms, all locked and bolted. Ryan released her hold on the stranger she had earlier grabbed, trying to reach for Aly, the only person in the room she had really known well enough. There was comfort there, in a way, for the best friend she hadn’t been speaking to for the last few months. There was comfort in the fact that Aly knew her, possibly more than herself, and would let her be fifteen years old without complaint. As she brushed against others, though, a flicker of a body appeared, then the entire entity, standing tall and built impressively, and the calm in his eyes assured Ryan that he was the one who had spoken. Before she could scream, his form shook violently and blurred, though nothing changed the sudden scarlet blazing of his eyes. His body looked about ready to burst, before it multiplied into five other forms, identical and equally as threatening as they took no moment's hesitation. With sharp precision one of the copies had grabbed her and knocked her into another, opening and throwing them both onto the floor of an empty room. She had not seen the same done in pairs from Keller, to Kaleigh, to Jacen… to everyone. There would be no one spared, even the original girl as she had not been seized, instead left with another copy, or original, she wasn't sure, it had happened all too fast. Her eyes fell on the several pieces of machinery in the room, similar to pictures shown of old slaughterhouses back in the day. The bile built up in her throat. “Get up.” Kaleigh picked herself up off the floor, blearily, momentarily confused from being knocked headfirst onto the railings of the room’s indoor… pool? Her gaze fell on the body beside her, then to Samson hovering with his foot, a heavy blow being directed to her head. “Archer… run… ” [/ul] -------------------- APPAREL kaleigh.samson.ryanne.parker.MUSIC take me - papa roach WITH everyone listed. "Oh god..." She said, and felt her voice lost moments after she spoke, hearing the booming male voice that echoed in the room. Moments later her entire body froze, seeing the owner of the voice towering with his blood red eyes. Keller didn't even have enough time to realize what was happening before she was grabbed by one of the multiplied forms and felt herself being smashed through to another room. Landing on the cold cement ground of the room, she wasn't sure if the other form was next to her, or had moved. It was difficult for her to open her eyes right away, but she slowly recovered herself and pushed herself up onto her knees, holding herself up with her hands. Her hair and clothes covered in dust and dirt as it hung around her face. I'm going to die... She thought and opened her eyes trying to see around the room to get her bearings.
Her thoughts went immediately to Alex, he'd just come back into her life and here she was putting herself into a clearly dangerous situation, which she wasn't even sure she'd be surviving to see tomorrow. Groaning, she winced as she pushed herself up with her hands and sat up as much as she could manage at that moment and let her eyes once again adjust to the dark.

When the force of more than just one werewolf finally busted the door, Alyson's heart sank as everything seemed to unfold quickly. The racing up the stairs, the lights coming on, and seeing all of the people, and then the feeling of a floor having an angry meeting with her side and her head. "Ow." She let out a deep breath as she raised up and rubbed her head and managed to painfully open her eyes. "Ryanne." She crawled the few short feet between where she'd landed and where Ryanne had, and clutched to her friend, holding her protectively. "It'll be okay. I'm here." She looked around, vomit threatening to rise up and escape her mouth. She let down a dry swallow to keep it from doing so. Tonight wasn't going to end up turning out alright, but she knew she'd protect Ryanne. She had to control herself for now. The things that Ryanne was being exposed to were way beyond what a human could comprehend in such a dangerous and frightening situation. "We'll get out of here. I promise." That was all the comfort she could give before her entire body seered with the anger and seeing and smelling the vampire that was occupying the room with them. She let out a low growl. She couldn't take him on these terms, not when he was obviously at the advantage and in his element. She chose to remain glued to Ryanne, holding her best friend in comfort as she watched him and didn't allow her eyes to move from him for an instant. "What do you want?" Her words weren't her own. Her emotions had taken over - a mix of anger, fear, and protectiveness.
---
The lights coming on made Sarah's eyes burn, and her head spin. The events that happened after didn't do much better as everything seemed to happen in a blur and so fast that she barely understood what was really happening. Sarah fell backwards onto the floor as she was pushed into an entirely different room. She was angry as well as scared, but glad that the anger was winning over the fear. She wasn't breaking down, not now. She sat up on her knees and wiped away the dust angrily. She'd been thrown into a room with a male, who she might have seen around before but didn't really know. She didn't move towards him, her trust in anyone completely broken. "What the hell is going on?" She asked no one in particular, but if she was going to die, she wished more than anything that they'd get it over. Why prolong the inevitable? Here or in a hospital, either way, it was going to happen. As she tried to convince herself that she didn't care if it happened now, she was shaking, and her voice was barely there. She wasn't going to make it out alive, and she was scared. She wanted to tell all the people she cared about how much she loved them and for them to be happy once she was gone. There were so many things left unsaid, and she knew now she'd never have a chance to say them.
---
His legs pulled him quickly after Kaleigh as his drive to find Keller took over. Whatever this damn vampire wanted, he wasn't getting it. Alex would die protecting Keller, and take the leech down with him too. He knew he was strong, and his love for Keller and anger were only strengthening that. If he had to face this threat head oh, he was going to. Alex's entire body threatened to transform as the vampire managed to push them into another room, and as the familiar scent of Keller filled his nostrils. He contolled it though as he looked towards Keller. He ignored the vampire there as he looked at her and moved over to her quickly. He put himself in front of the leech and her. He wasn't losing her. He stood up cautiously as he glared at the damn leech, his mind conflicting on whether just to go ahead and take him or to stay right next to Keller. "Leech." He said it low, and whether Keller heard or not didn't matter, because she wouldn't understand it. ---- The pain of the lights suddenly coming on, and seeing Leo there in clear view both made her want to vomit, and while both things should have made her feel better, it made her feel worse. She didn't want Leo risking himself for her. Before she could even call out to him, she was shoved roughly into another room, along with Leo, and what seemed to be a replica of the original vampire. She'd never believed she'd be in this situation with vampires or anything. It'd always been distant, even when she talked about it with Leo. He was kind and gentle and special. There wasn't any evil in him, but this, all of it, was wrong, a clear mark of evil present and forcing a feeling of dread in her. She pulled closer to Leo, but her legs, and her arms wouldn't let her. She let out a day sob as she was sprawled out on the floor. Even if she managed to stand from her propped up position, the trembling of her muscles would surely make her fall back to the floor. She didn't want to risk it. "Leo." It was all she could really manage. She was scared, and that was obvious, but she was also worried. She didn't want anything to happen to him, and she also knew of all the horrible possibilities that could happen in a situation like this. [/blockquote]

Jacen narrowed his eyes at the smell of the vampire that stood not to far off from him, but his attention was drawn towards his sister ramming herself into the only entrance into this place. Clearly this had also been locked, they had not wanted any one coming in here to ruin whatever might have been planned, and that was definitely not what was desired, and just as Jacen was about to open his mouth to stop his sister and suggest that he do it, he found the door then come crashing in on itself. “No way, sorry Kaleigh, but I’m not going anywhere.” Shaking his head, he moved into the room, he wasn’t about to be told to do right then. Even if it meant that there was something horrible just waiting to happen here, he would be here to help, if his sisters where to become injured and he hadn’t been there to try and stop. Well, that simply wouldn’t be excusable, besides, he knew that there were more people here, and who knew what could be happening right then, it simply wouldn’t be something where he would get up and leave because he had been demanded of it. “Arch!” He said with a wide smile when he realized that she was indeed okay, if not slightly unnerved about something or another, and then he blinked a moment when he then realized that she wasn’t the only relative of his here. “Emily?” He murmured but before he could question anything the lights where turned on, and a male, the male he had seen earlier was suddenly there.
“Emily?! What the hell are you doing here?!” the sound of her cousin made many questions jump to her head, and she found herself moving over towards where she had heard the other female. No way, she knew someone was here, and while this made her even more nervous than she had been just seconds before. It also made her feel even the slightest bit reassured, someone was here that she knew, she wasn’t alone, she was here with her cousin, and by the sound of it a few other girls as well. Though by the time that she had made her way over towards where her cousin supposedly was, she had to flinch at the sudden change, the lights turning on. Archer’s gaze falling to the other people that where there, and then with the sudden banging and clank that sounded like the door, caused her to jump a bit. Though the slightest of smiles came to her features when she then saw her two siblings, among others come into the room now. “Oh calm—“
but she was cut off when Samson made his own entrance and her nose wrinkled a bit at the stentch that came off of him. And then, all of the sudden, from no where there was two of Samson and then even more than just simply two of him, and a flash of uncertainty and worry came over her features, “Jace, Kaleigh, Em, we have to get out of here.” She hissed but before she could say anything else she felt herself suddenly being pushed back, watching her brother then being pushed in the opposite direction of her before he completely dissapered from view. Leo felt that wave of worry come over him once the door had finally been knocked down, and he didn’t wait for anyone else as he then rushed inside. Blinking a couple times at the darkness before the lights then proceeded to flash on, “Emily!” He murmured and then glanced towards the other three who had also recognized her. Her family? he found the thought running through his head for a brief moment before then moving over to where she was and gently placed a hand on either side of her cheeks for a moment as he inspected her. “You’re alright?” He questioned, though it seemed just like anyone else his questions would have to wait, especially since he found himself suddenly being shoved backwards and into some sort of room. “Samson!” He hissed and clenched his fists, finding his grounding only a brief moment afterwards he quickly scanned his surroundings before finding himself once more move over towards where Emily now was, his body much tenser than it had been only seconds before. He knew that something was about to happen, and it was not something that he would ever possibly like. He moved to kneel down next to her, “Hey, hey…” He murmured in almost a coo, though his body remained tense ready to leap at Samson, to to removed Emily out of harms way if and when he would need to do this. Jacen didn’t even blink before he then found himself in a new room, a room that he had not just been in seconds before hand. Finding himself stumble a bit, he looked towards the female that was not too far off from where he was. Shaking his head, Jacen couldn’t say that he knew her, but he did know that he’d have to make sure that she would be okay. There was no way that he wouldn’t try to keep her safe, even if he hadn’t meet her before, either way they had both been pushed into this, “I have no idea.” He mumbled. And it seemed like there was a very slim chance of anything relating to them being able to get out of this without them having to deal with what would be coming in their direction. “Hey…Miss…are you okay?” He murmured before turning his attention towards in front of him. Probably a stupid question, but hey Jacen was known for asking those sorts of stupid questions from time to time. “fuck, asshole.” Hissed Archer as she panted a bit, the wind had been knocked out of her when her back had decided to go smashing into the back of the metal polls of what seemed to be her new surroundings. Though they didn’t wander for too long, seeing as how the sudden voice of one of the Samson’s then spoke and caused her to jump just slightly. Finding herself to obey him and slowly stood up, her eyes narrowed and fists clenched. “What the fuck are you doing?!” She shouted and then felt a growl come from her at the sudden sight of him deciding to kick her sister. Then hearing her sister tell her to run, Archer had half a mind to do so, but to leave her sister behind like that, to leave her when she had just received a kick like that. “Are you kidding?” she hissed her gaze moving back to the Samson as she inched towards her sister. “Leave you behind? Yeah right…” [/blockquote]

You've learned to hide so well, pretending someone else can come && save me from myself. -------------------- The man had stood and lingered protectively over her, the feral glint in his eyes giving away his true nature, the eyes of a shifter. Samson’s body sunk low into a crouch as he sidestepped to and forth, almost playfully, mockingly as his eyes never left Alex’s, illuminated as the flickering of lighting from the ceiling’s wall. “You might be strong, dog,” he grinned, watching his every motion and reaction as he jerked his head towards the corner of the room where a lone chair and noose hung from a steel pole, “But I’m fast, and you didn’t catch your surroundings.” In less than a blink, he seemed to fly and duck past Alex, grabbing the girl from the waist and nearly throwing her to the chair to stand on top, slipping the noose around her neck and tightening it for extra measure. It would be uncomfortable, and he tilted her neck up to squeeze the noose as small as allowed without choking her. Yet. Stepping down from the chair, Samson smiled blithely, lightly tapping his foot against the chair, as if to kick it and let Keller hang at a moment’s notice. “Now, now, dog,” he reasoned, pulling an odd metal instrument from his pocket and holding it limply in one hand, “I’ve got a toy for you.” [/ul] -------------------- APPAREL kaleigh.samson.ryanne.parker.MUSIC monster - meg & dia WITH everyone listed.
