Maxwell Chase Greene. More commonly just Max Greene as called on by his old teachers naming role, but it's been quite a while since he's had to really answer to a classroom all things considered. He's not too sure why his parents picked his name, but he looked it up once, and Maxwell means "Mack's Stream" in Old English. He's not too sure who this Mack guy was, but supposedly it's in correlation to Magnus, which means "Great" in Latin. So really, Max isn't sure if he's named after a body of water or meant to be connected to greatness through a series of other names, but either way it's an interesting conversation starter.

--- * BODY TYPE :
Maxwell never has, and never will be the athletic type for both moral and ethical standpoint (not counting the fact he couldn't play well if his life depended on it), so in consequence growing up he's always been the more lanky type than anything. That's changed a bit in the past year or so, and he's started going to the gym and lifting weights. So yes, he's gained quite a decent bit of muscle tone purely for show since he avoids physical confrontation like the plague, and sports are clearly out of the option. It's a shame girls are impressed, yet never impressed enough it seems.

He's a natural redhead, and although that was up to a point of vice until his later teen years when he got used to it, there's no doubting there are some flaws to the color. First off, like, maybe 5% of the population of women out there liked ginger hair on guys, and second, hide and seek always sucked cause a nearsighted person would be able to pick out his fiery shade in a crowd. Max used to keep his hair short, or at least casually trimmed, up until the last few months where he begun growing out the wavy locks, flowing past his ears now with a flippy sort of hairstyle. Supposedly it's a skater thing, but Max doesn't skate and never intends to step on a death board as long as he lives.

Perfect karma seeing as Max is kind of whatever about his hair, and he's always been fond of his eyes. In fact, it's really the only physical aspect about himself that he particularly likes, the striking cerulean blue a point of many gushing of the opposite sex. Unfortunately, while they find Max's eyes rather dreamy, his other features and personality deem him just "cute," much to his dismay. Cute never got anyone laid, now did it?
--- * UNIQUE FEATURES :
Scars, that would definitely be something to describe some "unique" features Max has from the bear attack (or that's what the doctors concluded) he suffered through when he was younger, and on top of it leaving his hearing severely impaired and his vocal chords severed, there's a large sideways gash down his chest to his navel, as the "bear" nearly sliced him open. The claws ripped at his body, so here and there are smaller scars along his back and arms, though those are less visible, having faded over time and only really noticed upon close inspection. So unless someone was specifically looking for the faint scars or by some off chance Max's shirt happens to be off, he looks like relatively any other regular, non scarred boy.
--- * SHORT OVERALL :
He supposes he's an okay height for most guys, somewhere in the middle of average where half the other males he knows are taller, and the other half are shorter, so there's not much to complain about. There aren't that many natural redheads in Forks, much less redhead boys, so in a weird way Maxwell is one of a kind, at least in his little town. Contrary to a lot of fashion-sensitive teenagers his age, Max really couldn't care any less over what was the latest fall trend setting. In fact, most fads, in his own humble opinion, tend to look stupid and even more restricting with the idea of buying an article of clothing at least thirty people in your school will be owning and wearing. That being said, of course, he prefers casual clothing and is often seen in a graphic t-shirt of some sort and comfortable jeans. He's practical as well, and doesn't feel a particular label makes a particular hooded sweatshirt any warmer than an off brand. There's only one article Max has ever splurged on, and that was a favored black leather jacket he had been looking at through glass for months before deciding to purchase. Other than that, he keeps his clothes reasonably priced and well taken care of, considering he supports himself and needs to be money-conscious about such things in order to have money to eat.

Disappointing. Yeah, that's the word. He's more torn, though, considering he doesn't believe he looks like a giant sea ogre or anything, but the fact not many think of him as anything more as "adorable" puts a damper on his self-esteem. Puppies are adorable. Maxwell Greene is not adorable, okay? He's a man, thanks.
