The One Behind the Mask
Alias: Wisher
Roleplay Experience: 4 years
Activity Level: VERY active
RP Sample: -see clary's threads-
Face Claim: Ben Barnes <3
Just who do you think you are?
Full Name: Dodge James Anderson
Age: Looks to be about 21, but his real age is unknown.
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Unknown.
Occupation: Volturi.
Grade: Doesn't attend school.
Species: Vampire. <3 Evil one too.
Look This Way
Eye Color:
As with all vampires, Dodge's eye color changes depending on what he has been eating. As he is one of the Volturi his eyes are almost always a very vivid crimson color.
Hair Color and Style:
Dodge has longish, dark brown hair thats almost a little wavy. It doesn't have a particular style really, as all he does to it in the morning is drag a comb through it. Despite his lack of caring how it looks it always looks rather nice, although his long bangs occasionally get in front of his eyes.
Build:
Not particularly muscular or tall, Dodge looks like a pretty average guy. But as with many things, looks can be deceiving. Dodge may not look like much but he is actually very strong, although pretty much all of his kind are strong themselves.
Skin Tone:
Dodge has very, very pale skin like most vampires do, but his skin has the slightest olive undertone to its paleness.
Height:
Not particularly tall or short, Dodge is around the average height for someone his age.
Weight:
Perfectly healthy.
Piercings or Tattoos:
Unlike many other people Dodge happens to have a tattoo. It consists of a large black dragon that stretches over his shoulders and on his back. If he had his shirt off, the dragon would sort of look like its hanging from his shoulders and is turning back to look at whoever is looking at Dodge's bare back. Since he normally doesn't run around shirtless, the tattoo is almost never visible.
Clothing Style:
Not one to get worked up over his wardrobe, Dodge's clothes are very simple. Usually his outfit is as follows: white t-shirt, black jacket, jeans, and sneakers. Strangely enough, it seems as if thats all he ever wears. Most people would say wearing the same kind of outfit, with variations in the clothes but overall its pretty much the same, is dull. To Dodge on the other hand, its just convenient. Not that anyone will argue. When he wears his favorite black leather jacket with anything other than a white shirt, he almost looks like some kind of hit man.

Strengths:
Level-Headed
Unlike his partners, Dodge is not quick to jump to action and he always takes his time to come to a decision. While this may seem like a bad trait rather than a good one, seeing as he can occasionally take too long to make up his mind, it does make him rather handy to have in a pinch. Unlike other people, Dodge almost never loses his cool and is always calm no matter what kind of bind he's in.
Arms
Dodge is very... knowledgeable, for lack of a better word, about guns. He can disassemble and reassemble practically any gun you put in front of him and have it still work. He knows exactly how to use guns to his advantage, and while some of kind seem to think such things are below them Dodge is not so stupid as to ignore their uses.
Weaknesses:
Apathy
While some might say his easy-going nature is actually rather good, it actually doesn't help Dodge very much. It lets him be pushed around, or made to do things because as he is very disinterested in almost everything in general he could care less what he does, so long as it lessens his boredom.
Children
No, Dodge is not some kind of creepy child molester. However, Dodge is just naturally protective of children for some bizarre reason and will go out of his way to assist a child who needs help. Some think its strange that a man who can shoot someone without batting a lash can't bear to see a child cry, but its just how Dodge is. If there is a child in danger Dodge will do nearly everything in his power to save them or help them, even going so far as to put himself in the line of fire.
Split Personalities
To most people it may seem like Dodge has split personalities sometimes. Sometimes he acts completely calm and cold, and other times he acts like some kind of psychotic thrill seeking maniac. Neither personality seems to be in complete control, and oddly enough it doesn't even seem like his personality is even really too split all the time either. Whatever it is, Dodge does occasionally seem to swap mannerisms at the drop of a pin making him the slightest bit unstable.
Personality:
If Dodge could be summed up in one word, that word would be apathetic. He is surprisingly disinterested in the world and all who inhabit it and never seems to express any interest for much of anything. He can come off as very cold, and to the untrained eye he seems to be very empty. His expression is almost always the same, bland and empty of any feeling except perhaps boredom. Its almost as if Dodge is just bored with the world around him, and nothing is interesting to him anymore. At least, thats how Dodge comes off as to most people.
In fact, this is only part of who he is. While it is true that he is pretty apathetic to most of the world in general, there are a few things he cares about. His motorcycle, for one, is very important to him, as is his favorite gun. While these things may seem trivial and nothing more than objects, to Dodge they hold special value. They are old relics from the past he cannot recall and so he always keeps them close, as if the objects themselves could wake up things in his head that have long since been asleep. But while they are from his past, that doesn't change the fact that they are objects and that most people would scoff and say that it makes no difference. To them, Dodge will forever be a block of ice without any trace of a soul, someone more machine than human.
But there Dodge does not just care about inanimate objects, despite how he acts. When he is around certain people you can see that there is something lurking behind his impassive mask and that perhaps he isn't so hollow after all. Yes, he is an annoying, boring man most of the time but not all of the time. In fact, sometimes it seems as if Dodge has two personalities sometimes. Occasionally, depending on who he is with, his mask is shed and he displays a personality distinctly different from the face most people know. He becomes arrogant, sarcastic, and somewhat of a daredevil. But even in his state he remains cool-headed, for the most part, and while he may do crazy things he never gets too swept up in the moment.
Overall though, Dodge is a pretty easy going guy who just goes with the flow. Until, of course, his other personality happens to surface.
Family:
If Dodge had any family, he doesn't remember them. He probably had a mother and father, possibly siblings, but he isn't sure. He could have been an orphan from the start for all he knows.
History:
The interesting thing about Dodge is that he has no history, or at least he has no history that he can remember. When Delia and Lilie found him wandering around in the Italian countryside they were rather surprised to find out that while he knew he was a vampire, and that he knew his name, he knew nothing else about himself. It was if every memory in his head had simply been wiped away in one fell swoop. Amnesia could account for some of the memory loss, but the information he did remember was far too specific for it to be random memory loss. For example, he knew his name, he knew that he was in Italy, and he knew and understood his "condition". He also told them that he had to find the Volturi, and that he didn't know why he needed to find them he simply had to.
The twins were, understandably, rather confused about the mysterious man, but they did lead him to Volterra and they did present him to the rest of the Volturi. Initially Dodge was regarded as a curiosity, but nothing too interesting. He was allowed to stay with them and share in their meals so long as he stayed out of trouble. Dodge was more than happy to keep to himself. However, after about a month or so of him being there they started to notice that rather odd things were starting to happen. The Volturi had long since started to use Lilie to make them sleep, allowing the vampires to rest for the first time in centuries. They would occasionally have nightmares, but when Dodge arrived all the nightmares mysteriously began to stop. One of the Volturi witnessed Dodge wandering amongst their sleeping comrades, pausing at one particular vampire who was shaking and obviously having a nightmare. He placed a hand on the vampires forehead and they immediately relaxed, and it was almost as if Dodge had banished their nightmare.
It turned out later that he had. The Volturi discovered that Dodge actually had a useful talent, the ability to manipulate and control dreams. They also learned that the dreams didn't have to be good, they could in fact be terrible nightmares if he knew the persons fears. In addition, they learned that he could trap someone in a nightmare, or a fantasy, that they would not be able to distinguish from reality and could theoretically be trapped in forever if Dodge did not reverse it. The Volturi saw an opportunity to be had when they connected the dots between his power and the power of each twin. Combined the three became the Volturi's most feared and most respected team. They were used to punish those the Volturi decided were bad, bestowing on them a fate worse than death in many of their eyes. When they worked together they were able to immerse anyone they chose into a never ending nightmare. They became, in a sense, hit-men, except their job was not to kill people. Their job was to scare people into submission or, in some cases, lock them into pits of never ending torment if they happened to really irritate the Volturi.
Dodge accepted his new calling without any protest, and has since served the Volturi faithfully. However, he is not actually loyal to the Volturi themselves. He just does the work because he doesn't really have any reason not to, and its not like he has anything better to do with his time.
Power:
Most people say bad dreams reflect your deepest thoughts and concerns, although when Dodge is around that might not exactly be the case. Dodge has the ability to enter a persons head when they're dreaming and manipulate their dreams. He can either give them the best dream of their life or lock them up in a perpetual nightmare. Manipulating a persons dreams comes in handy too during an interrogation. He can manipulate people in their sleep and manage to get them to confess their deepest, darkest secrets without even moving their lips.
How you became a vampire:
Dodge does not remember how he became a vampire. Like the rest of his memories, that memory is no more.
