i am slowly falling apart i wish you'd take a walk in my shoes for a start and you might think it's easy being me just stand still, look pretty.
Ellie Buckner's life hasn't been easy ever since she met Serge Cohen. And it never would be again, especially when they were an ocean apart almost all the time. She's mopey and down when she's around best friend Clarissa Hale, and she almost always cries. She's sensitive and does her waitressing like a zombie. Ellie changed ultimately, and it wasn't completely for the better.
So when she blows up at her sister for making yet another comment about Serge, she screams herself hoarse. No big deal, she's done it before and so has Kate. But when Ellie catches a severe cold, her hoarseness gets worse. And as the cold gets better, her voice disappears. That's right, Ellie Buckner's voice just disappears. She can't talk, laugh, hiccup, or even cough. She can't make any sound come from her mouth. So it's up to her to figure some way to communicate with everyone other than a pad of paper and a pen.
And of course she loses her voice just before Clarissa Hale makes Serge Cohen go to the Volturi. Mute and with almost no way to stop him, she does forgive him before he does any real damage, of course. But does it even matter? A kid ends up at La Push High with a gun, and Ellie can't do anything. She's busy making up her own sign language and trying to deal with being mute. She just can't handle everything on her plate.
And she comes all too close to really breaking apart this time.
It's up to Serge and Clary to keep Ellie's breaking seams together, and they have to cope with her being mute, too. It's hard for Ellie to communicate with Clary, since she can't right something on a pad of paper and show it to her. Serge has to help with some Ellie-sign language there. but then Ellie's life takes another twist - Nikki, for the second time, becomes deathly ill. But this time, she doesn't make it.
Now what happens? Ellie gets into a fight - not with Serge or Clary, thank god, but with a vampire. She doesn't win, of course, but ends up in the hospital. Clary, like any good best friend, wants to go track down the vampire and kick their butt, but Serge stops her and goes instead. So with Clary for comfort and her usual worry for Serge, Ellie' stuck with a broken leg and multiple cuts.
That's when a very unexpected visitor arrives.
Needed:
The Best Friend - Female, Werewolf The Imprint Boyfriend - Male, Vampire
The Vampire, Male or Female, vampire! The Visitor, Male, Half-Breed or Vampire
Taken: The Best Friend - Clarissa Hale, Werewolf The Imprint Boyfriend - Serge Cohen, Vampire The Vampire, Female, Cadence Malani
Note: I don't care who the visitor is, but the only background info I can give is that it's someone Ellie met a long time ago and "dated", plus he's a half-breed or a vampire. I don't care what the half-breed cross is if that's whatcha do. She never expected to see him again, which means she hasn't seen him around Forks or La Push yet. Again, doesn't matter who it is. =)

Cadence has issues, and an even shorter temper with wolfies, so she could totally fit the role of The Vampire if you wanted. [/size]
