The One Behind the Mask
Alias:Po =)
Roleplay Experience:5 years or so I think.
Activity Level:Very activeee!
RP Sample:Kat made her way through the streets of the great city, weaving herself in and out of the crowds of people. It felt almost as though she was stuck in the middle of a highly choreographed dance, and she was the new kid, nearly stumbling over herself a few times. It was beautiful though, even if the sun wasn’t shining like she’d hoped it’d be, though she’d heard from many locals that it was usually like this, how strange…In every picture Kat had seen it always seemed to be more or less brighter. Never the less the place was thriving with life.
It was a treat to herself, sort of like a congratulations present for almost nearly being done with high school. She’d used some of the money left to her after her mother had passed, yes it was mainly for college, but her mother would understand. She walked amongst the people with what felt like a permanent smile on her face, talking to vendors, sampling goodies that were being offered. One being a very, very old cheese that had made her stomach turn.
She’d settled in a room at a small family fun hotel, it had more of a boarding house feel. She’d woken up that morning to the smell of percuito, or bacon cooking in the kitchen. She’d eaten her fair share of the meal and headed out to explore, and here she was in some sort of town square where everyone seemed to want to be that day. There were schools there, from America, it was obvious due to their flags plastered around on their things to be able to keep track of one another.
Kat simply enjoyed being caught up in it all, there was so much that this place obviously offered to the residents of it. She had to admit, even if she loved Forks, this place was her new favorite place to be. Not that she’d ever probably be able to afford to come back there. She snapped a few pictures of the people in the town square with her camera, some of the vendors, and a pair of elderly men playing some sort of game at a table seated outside a café. She smiled softly to herself and snapped the picture before putting the camera away. Then she thought of Eli, he’d love it here. They hadn’t really been talking when she left, there was the awkward tension between them since he’d freaked out in the forest. So they’d been steering clear of each other, or well that was what it seemed like he was doing so Kat just followed suit.
She took a seat on a stone bench a yard or so away from the fountain and just watched the water, and the people. Her worn, brown leather backpack at her side, she slid her camera into it. Crossing her legs she let herself bask in the scenery. Kat had expected it to be warmer than it was too, but since the sun wasn’t out she’d opted for a pair of light jeans, with her Doc martins on her feet, and a dark red beater upon her chest. Pulling her hair off to one side she continued to watch the people.
That's when she started to day dream a bit; thinking that there should be some strapping young Italian boy riding up to her on his moped to bring her some exotic flower. Shaking her head she let out a small laugh.

Just who do you think you are?
Full Name:Quinn Dakota Huritt
Age: Eighteen
Gender: Female
Sexuality: This girl hates labels, so it's unknown.
Occupation: Quinn works at the thrift store in La Push.
Grade: Senior, at La Push High.
Species: Human
Look This Way
Eye Color:Quinn has warm brown eyes like her father, and unlike her brother Conan. In the light sometimes they seem to have a bit of some gold in them.
Hair Color and Style:Unlike her brother she has their mother's blond hair. Quinn spends a lot of her time at La Push Beach so there are chunks here and there of her hair that are exceptionally light compared to the rest. Though there are hints of brown here and there throughout her hair, she does well keeping that hidden.
Build: This girl is a beach bum let me tell you. Though she loves to exercise, and swim, she manages to keep a toned body. There is a lot of unseen pressure though, she feels she needs to compete to keep up with Conan.
Skin Tone: If the sun is out, she's outside. It would explain her tanned skin that looks as though she's been dipped in warm honey. It's in her blood though, the Native American heritage doesn't hurt matters.
Height:Quinn stands about five feet seven inches tall, pretty average height for a girl her age. Though you'd think she'd be taller from the genes that are in her blood.
Weight: She weighs a good, healthy 135 pounds. Though she eats, and eats since there is always so much food around for her dad and brother, she manages to keep a steady weight.
Piercings or Tattoos:Quinn doesn't have anything besides the two earlobe piercings on each ear and two cartilage piercings on her right ear.
Clothing Style:Quinn hates shoes. She's usually seen running around barefoot in the sand, but if it's absolutely necessary for her to have something on her feet it's usually her gray chucks or a pair of flip flops since she has a wide variety of colors to choose from.
As for clothing, she's very eh...hippyish. Quinn's usually seen wearing jeans, usually with holes in the legs somewhere or another. Light, bleached jeans are her favorite to wear, she has a pair with a huge hole in the leg that her mom keeps trying to get her to throw away, but she refuses. Jean skirts are also in her wardrobe, especially when she's going to the beach, she loves sun-dresses that are loose and flowing, nothing too revealing though. Tye-dye t-shirts are also a must for her, she spends her free time futzing around making her own shirts or jewelry. Her favorite t-shirt is blue and white tye-dyed, and she's had it since she was 12, it's so faded now.
As for accessories? Quinn likes her plain ol' small hoops that sit in her ears, sometimes for special occasions -which are few and far between- she'll trade them out for a pair of small diamond studs. Hemp jewelry usually adorns her wrists, and sometimes she'll throw on a necklace that's just simple and plain, but she doesn't like them that much.

Strengths:
Quinn would be nothing without her family. Having a werewolves as a brother and father can be tough, but having them there for her makes her feel as though she can do anything. And they try to make life for her and Conan as normal as they possibly can, even though it usually doesn't work very well in the long run. It's the thought that counts.
She is very protective over her family and friends. If someone were to mess with them, she'd get up in their face. Unless of course it were a vampire or werewolf, then she'd send Conan to do it, because she definitely isn't very intimidating to some people.
Quinn is very friendly. When she goes out to parties with her friends or during school activities she tries to go out of her way to make people feel comfortable, even if it means she's embarrassing the hell out of herself.
She is very open-minded. Quinn doesn't like it when others feel they need to put someone down if they're different, or think differently. To her, everyone has an equal opportunity to express themselves.
Weaknesses:
They may be supernatural, but her family is a threat. Having werewolves around can bring problems, they have enemies, and enemies always go for those they love. Her brother and father do a good job of protecting her and her mother, but it's always a possibility something can happen.
Sometimes she's a bit too friendly. A lot of people who don't know Quinn feel that she can be a bit to invasive with trying to make them feel at home. It hurts her feelings to know she does get a bit out of hand; she's working on it.
It may not seem like it but she's very self conscious. She works very hard to look the way she does, feeling as though she needs something to keep her in her own spotlight compared to her brother. Feeling as though her own life is insignificant to Conan's, as though she still has yet to find meaning to why she's around, and she still wonders why it wasn't both of them bestowed with the werewolf gig.
Personality:Quinn is your average girl next door; Fun, friendly, happy, peppy. She tries to keep herself constantly moving, doing something weather it's running, dancing around in her room to music, or doing something stupid like coloring in her cousin's The Little Mermaid coloring book. Though there are times when she just wants to sit around and relax, and lay around. That's when she's found in her room doing crafts or watching TV. She tries to keep herself around her friends most of the time, trying to enjoy every second that she can with them.
The girl goes out a lot despite warnings from her brother and her dad. Most of the time they don't know when she's out, Quinn usually just climbs out her window and leaves. Part of her cares what they think about her, but another part of her feels that she needs to break away from them, the weirdness, away from the things that go bump in the night and just be an average teenager though that'll probably never happen. She gets pretty pissed off at her brother Conan a lot of the time, she's constantly fighting with him about how over protective he is.
She's just fighting for a break.

Shane Huritt :: Werewolf :: Father :: 65 :: Alive
Conan Huritt :: Werewolf :: Brother :: 22 :: Alive
History: Quinn and her family have lived in La Push since as long as she can remember. They live in an older home near the water that Quinn thinks, used to be a cabin. It has this comforting old, sandy smell that she loves. When she was little she remembers how when her grandfather died, everyone was very protective of Conan, her older brother of what she thought was only a years difference. Quinn could never quite figure out why everyone fawned over him for so long. And because of that Quinn became very close with her mother, Mackenzie. She'd spend her summer days in her mother's room with her playing at her vanity, dressing in her clothes, pretending to be a model and her mother would take pictures of her.
When school started she made friends very quickly, her best friend being a girl named Kayla O'hera. They met in kindergarten during reading time, they both were reading Aurthur books and instantly became friends. For years to come they spent their summers together, and instead of playing dress up with her mom, she now had Kayla. They'd sit in her room looking at pre-teen magazines, painting their toes, or playing with Moe. They were, to put it simply, inseparable.
The summer before their freshman year of high school Kayla was killed, by a vampire. Kayla and Quinn had been wondering around the path in the woods, loosing track of time as they chattered on about how they thought school would be and what have you. They soon had realized how dark it had gotten, Kayla wanted to keep walking, but Quinn kept insisting they go home, afraid. They had already dealt with enough strange things that day, like the stalky looking pale guy at the mall that had nearly harassed them. Kayla teased Quinn and went on walking, Quinn stayed where she was until she heard a scream. She'd ran after her friend only to find her laying on ground the man bent over her, and she screamed. The man had started after her until she heard a large growl from behind her, she had crouched down and hid until the sounds of fighting stopped. In tears she opened her eyes to see the large black wolf staring at her.
Quinn would never come to fully understand what had happened until she was sixteen. When things with Conan got even stranger. She was sat down one night, by her mother's persistent nagging of their father and he explained to her what was going on. She'd never thought things like them existed, and didn't believe him until she'd been brought outside with her mother to see them head off on their nightly patrol.
