Six amazing years.
Activity Level:
Everyday. For sure.
RP Sample:The music, place, and situations that filled the room were all too routine - the only thing allowing for any unique enjoyment would be the events of the night with her dear friend. The club, as it would seem, was always filled with the same music, or some that closely resembled the other selections that were often played for the large amounts of people to dance to. The only thing ever changing were the faces of the dancers whom were within the club - all still clearly wanting to be drunk - as if to escape something - and also wanting to dance, and in Eve's opinion - wasn't very good. There were those people who regularly cam e to the club, and lived within the city - much like Delia and Eve, but the rest, and majority, were the tourists the flooded the divine city, always leaving trash and ignorance behind for the next batch. This was something Delia and Eve shared in common, like many other things - their hate of tourists. It would of course be fine if they were respectful to the city and its occupants - but they never were; Always coming in attempts to be selfish and trash the place, always here to drink up the booze and become drunk. People who lived in the city had much more sense than that - in fact, much of the country, if not all, didn't drink in seek of being drunk, but to enjoy themselves - the near opposite of the tourists. Thankfully though, they would leave, although sending in another lot of them to take their place - trashing, drinking, and ignoring all decencies of respect. If Eve hadn't been there to spend the night with her dear friend, she would have rid the city of a few of the pesky tourists - as she often did. But she was here to enjoy herself, and not worry of the idiots within the space around her - and enjoy herself is what she would do - especially when it meant showing these ignorant fools the truth of dancing and enjoying one's self without having to get drunk just to be getting drunk.
She let out a sigh - knowing she should ignore her thoughts for the evening, and just enjoy herself and the company of one of her dearest friends. Delia has seen her, and they had welcomed one another - so now, the night could begin. As they sat at the bar, Evelyn couldn't help but think that she hadn't taken all the time she probably should have, to become more close with Delia in the sense of allowing her to know things about herself, and to learn things about Delia - but with her past, talking about it was almost as if reliving it; Although cold and selfish now, deep within her still runs the selflessness of how she use to be, and what it meant had happened so long ago. She shook her head slightly, trying to think of the present times instead of the past. This helped some, but later she would end up thinking about it again, unable to ever let it go. She smiled weakly as she looked at Delia and then turned her attentions to the crowd, taking another sip of her beverage. It was sad how little these poor people knew about dancing and partying - although that was to be expected in their short years of living, of which couldn't add up to the many years Eve had spent alive, many times partying as she saw fit to. Her many years had taught her plenty - about partying, but also about many other things - the human condition for most of it. It was impossible to live so long and not know the habits of the world that surrounded you.
"Well, I always like to make an entrance and be fashionably late." she said, as a smile spread across her face as she looked at her friend. She was always one to be either very late or very early - always depending upon her current mood - or whatever situations might prevent her from arriving when she desired. She was sure to enjoy herself tonight - now united with her friend, they together being an unstoppable force of fun. They had all night - neither of them ever needing to sleep again. They would of course have to leave before the sun came up and suspicion could be raised, but before that - they were left to party to their hearts' desire. "Oh, I feel positively horrible that you had to be stuck at home, doing nothing. I also can't believe that you haven't had an assignment yet. If you ever feel the need to just get out and do something - I am only one phone call away." she said, being vague on the direction of work, but being sincere on her invitation for further nights upon which they could party, or go out on the town.
She smiled, knowing very well that they knew much more to dancing and living than any of these poor tourists could - their years had ensure them of this knowledge; Obvious power to their egos. "They wouldn't know how to dance if their lives depended on it. Honestly, with our years of expertise, we know far more than they could possibly think of knowing." she said, a small laugh coming from her. She watched as Delia had easily come with her to get a drink, ordering herself a margarita. "A margarita? Oh, live a little." she said, only teasing her. It was one of those drinks that were ever so popular, much like her own drink, although hers in some cases could be either considered more classy, or even less. Evelyn wasn't one to care about how a drink would make her look - she cared about her taste. She was selfish, so why would she care what a few measly tourists could possibly think? As if they could ever comprehend the knowledge she had compared to their own. She looked at Delia, and smiled. She enjoyed when they could sit and have conversations - since that was something Delia often liked to do to be rid of the silence; Eve knew this from the many years of knowing Delia. She continue to look at her, still smiling. "Well, Forks positively does not constitute for having done anything, at least worthwhile. Other than that - not too much. I just arrived home yesterday evening, and I spend some time with Pietro, actually." she said, very matter-of-factly. She didn't let on to the fact that she didn't just spend time with him, but that wasn't necessary to speak about at this moment. She wasn't even thinking about that - they went onto their usual nights of whatever each one of them would do. And this was one of hers - to get out, and just enjoy time with Delia.
She let out a small laugh, directing her attention to the dance floor as she spoke with Delia, a smile remaining on her face during their light but fun conversation. "You know me - can't go anywhere without breaking something. Hearts and law included." she said, her smile widening. She was always going to places and enjoying herself, no matter what they meant. When she wanted something, she got it; Simple enough. In Forks, she had met a few many men who kept her company, each only for a night, and then they were no longer in her thoughts. This was usual for her, although some might think it sad or even pathetic. She was always that way; Wanting something, such as a man's company, then getting it, but eventually getting bored with it. Only her close friends such as Delia and Pietro could ever keep her entertained - both for their different reasons. She let out another small laugh. She was right about that - Evelyn had certainly broken a few hearts in her time. "I have - but certainly more than a few. It isn't as I could ever commit to anyone, even if I wanted to. Which, I have never really wanted to. I enjoy how I live - however preposterous it may seem to others. I am about enjoying myself - sometimes others are hurt, but that is for their own safety and convenience." she said, her tone very light, although serious, as it was all rather true. She still remained smiling. She knew that Delia understood her, and accepted her - so that was nothing to worry about. It was nice to be within conversation, which always got rid of the many silences that were too awkward or boring for her taste. She was almost ready to dance the night away.

Look This Way
Eye Color:
Melanie has beautiful and captivating brown eyes, which are deep and dark. Some would say that her eyes are many layers of dark browns, but she doesn't think so. Most people say that her eyes are her best feature - but she sees them as plain old eyes. Her brown eyes are the perfect form for make-up when she decides to wear it. Sometimes it would seem her eyes were a deep and endless sea of darkness, but you can still see her feelings show right through her eyes, if you have known her for a while.
Hair Color and Style:
She has black hair, almost appearing like dark brown when in the sun, which has been true since during summer her hair tends to lighten up a little, but always returns to black by winter. She doesn't use a lot of product, but she does straighten her hair very often. She was born with naturally wavy hair, which she loves at most times, but likes it better straight mostly. She does however, like to buy more expensive shampoos and conditioners to make her hair soft and to shine. She doesn't really need it since her hair is actually quite soft, and sometimes takes a shine to it. Her hair is just below her shoulders, and has a sort of side bang look. Her hair actually has layers, although some people don't see it unless her hair is straightened properly.
Build:
For weight compared to height, Melanie is actually pretty average or on the less than average side. She is generally considered either skinny, or average. She is short compared to a lot of people, and that doesn't bug her at all - she even enjoys the idea of it. Her nickname use to be shortie. Melanie could care less about her weight - but she is a health freak, since she cares whether or not she eats something that will harm her. She can still eat hamburgers, but she never over does it. Melanie isn't too weak or too strong, just average - which is the general description for most of her build.
Skin Tone:
Melanie has simple and light skin, of an ivory nature. She doesn't burn or tan when she is out in the sun, unless out for a really long time, and then she will burn, but not too much - and it always goes away in a day or two, and then it only slightly tans her. She has never cared for tanning, but she is outside quite often, even though it doesn't matter for her skin - since she rarely tans or burns.
Height:
5'6"
Weight:
145 pounds.
Piercings or Tattoos:
Melanie has individual ear piercings - the usual, and then one on the cartilage of her left ear. She will wear all kinds of earrings but usual only wears a simple diamond (usually fake) in her left ear piercing, that is in the cartilage. She has one tattoo, on her lower back that has her sister's name on it, since Melanie believes her sister died. Behind the name, is a beautiful butterfly that is blended into a rainbow. She wouldn't mind getting another tattoo, but she only gets them when they mean something that it important to her and will remain so. She doesn't just randomly get a tattoo that she might not like later.
Clothing Style:
Her style is eccentric, and very different than from what others will wear. She isn't one for fads or trends and wears what she wants based on her mood, or the place she is going. She will wear a lot of jewelry and layers of clothing, or just simply t-shirts and jeans. You will see her in every thing at some point. She doesn't protest to any colors or styles, and never dresses as a stereotype - although people always seem to classify her as punk pr scene, which she absolutely is not. She is her period. She never leaves the house without making sure she has everything in order - whatever that may mean at the time.

Strengths:
Melanie is one of the most creative people - she sings, dances, draws, writes, and does photography - all of which she does very very well. She is very big on 'the arts', and it is her one biggest passion, along with wanting to be a fashion designer.
Confidence happens to be one of the few things she doesn't struggle with. Unlike most people, she is very confident in herself and loves herself. Some may say she is conceded, but no, she is just very confident in herself.
Melanie may be clumsy, but she is remarkably organized because of it - since she has to know where everything is to make sure that if she gets too clumsy, she can easily fix it.
Intelligence is one of her best qualities. She has always been a straight A student, with the need to learn. She craves knowledge, and can have a decent argument with rational reasoning.
Melanie is one of the most kind-hearted people you will ever meet, very rarely participating in arguments or disagreements. She is always there to lend a helping hand, and a shoulder to cry on.
When things get rough, Melanie knows how to ignore it all and get away, without going far. This is because she is a dreamer.
Melanie is actually really popular, in the sense that she has so many friends, and that most people get along with her - she is so outgoing that she can even scare herself sometimes. But she is always the life of the party and knows how to enjoy herself.
Weaknesses:
Melanie is clumsy, and considered a klutz - she doesn't do it too often (falling all over the place), but she can get distracted and mess up, or she will fall on her face when walking because she was so busy talking to someone instead of watching where she was going.
Although being a dreamer has helped Melanie get away from her troubles, she can sometimes dream too much, instead of being realistic. She always thinks the best will happen, and although she is logical, her dreams always get in the way of life.
Adventuring can be considered a good thing, but with Mel's clumsiness and her need for danger - she can get herself into a lot of trouble, and hurt. She is the type of girl that you just can't beat when it comes to the stunts she does. She likes to go to the extreme.
Melanie holds onto things so much, since she is so proud - she doesn't back down from a challenge when she should, especially when it has to do with stunts, and taking risks. She has gotten herself in the hospital a few too many times because of her pride.
Confidence isn't a hard thing for her, but like her pride, she is so confident that she doesn't back down - she thinks she can do anything - thinks she is invincible - but she isn't.
Melanie might be the life of the party and very outgoing, but there are very few people that she opens up to. She is so reserved with her feelings and thoughts since losing her family.
Like her pride, and confidence, Melanie is of course the most stubborn girl you will ever meet - she likes to get her way. She will compromise, but not very often.
Personality:
When it comes down to it, Melanie loves her creativity, and that is what inspires her to make it someday. She wants to be successful in some way, so she an travel the world - one of the few things she has wanted to do her whole life. When Melanie dreams, she dreams big - nothing is impossible for her. People say that she must think she is superman (in woman form) since she believes she is so indestructible and that she can do anything, and everything. She doesn't let anything stop her - people, fears, or lack of money. She has always lived a fast lifestyle, doing a million things at once, and never giving up. Melanie could be considered unstoppable.
On the note of love, she believes in it and wants it - another big part of her dreams, she believes that someone will sweep her off her feet, and she can't wait. But she refuses to chase love - she wants it to happen when it does, unexpectedly - since that is what she considers the arrival of true love, unexpected, and amazing. She has had a small amount of boyfriends that have taught her how guys are, but she has also had a few girlfriends. She leans more to girls, although she believes in loving anyone, not matter their race, sex, or age. Nothing can stop love - that is what she says. Melanie doesn't ride people off when they do something wrong right away, she always gives them at least a second chance - because she knows how easy it is to make a mistake. But, she isn't a pushover, and won't just sit back and take it.
Melanie is really outgoing, and she shines in a crowd of people. She is easily noticed, and easily loved. She is always the life of the party, and never lets anyone feel left out. She is one of those people that you would actually be glad that she is popular. Which she is, but only in the sense of knowing everyone, most of which all like her. She is amazingly kind-hearted, but she isn't a pushover. If you confront her, she won't fight, but she won't let you talk to her rudely. She knows how to stand up for herself and doesn't back down easily.
She also craves adventure - usually getting herself in trouble, or harmed. She isn't afraid of risks since she believes to live life to the extreme - and when she says that she means it. She has done countless stunts, and even went further than some guys were willing to go. She is a real dare devil. She doesn't let fear or anything to stop her. This has landed her in the hospital a few too many times, but she figures she is going to die someday, and maybe soon, so she wants to live and she wants to really do it. She will try everything once, and doesn't back down from a dare or a challenge.

History:
Melanie grew up in Albany, New York, where she lived until she was eight years old. Her father worked in New York City in a large law firm. He was often not at home, until late at night. Her mother didn't mind much, getting to spend all day with her two daughters, the twins. Melanie grew up with her twin sister connected to her by the hip - there were few things that they didn't do together. The only things being that Melanie did ballet, while her twin sister went to piano recitals. They were a normal, and happy family. Their parents loved each other, and never fought, they had all the money and items they could ever need or want - and they were living the life.
When her father took up a murder case, they began getting strange phone calls, threatening him to give up the case, or else. He ignored it - knowing that he could win, and that this would get him and the law firm a lot of money. He could take his wife and the girls to live in another country like he and their mother had always planned - they were hoping to live in England or Australia depending on the job with his law firm - since they would transfer him to a high position in one of the countries he had chosen. This would be all of their big breaks - a chance to do and get everything they ever wanted. Why would he pass that up, just because of a silly threat? Their mother was a little upset about him being threatened, and at some point begged him not to continue on the case, but he reminded her that he would risk anything to give the girls the lives they deserved. That is why she regretfully let him continue, without saying another word - they wanted the best for their daughters, no matter the price - even their lives.
And that is what they gave. It was a week before the girls' eighth birthday and they had just dropped Melanie off at her ballet recital, and they were on their way to pick up her sister. When they did, they had left their car in the parking lot turned off, while they went inside to get her sister who was helping clean up from the snacks they had had. When they went back out to the car, they got in and started their drive back to get Melanie, who's recital was over by that point. They never made it to pick her up - the car was found a few blocks away, in what looked like a crash. Later investigations would prove that someone had put something on the car so when they stopped, that it would explode. The bodies were ash, and they never discovered if any of them survived. But after no years of contact, they figured that all three had died.
Melanie had no one left, and was sent to live with her uncle in Forks, Washington. He was a drunk, and only she knew it. She grew up, and at some point he had started to beat her for silly things. Because of this she would stay out at her best friend, Kat's house, or out with her other friend, Riley. Eventually her uncle was barely at home - always out with his buddies. But when he was home, he often more than not, would beat her, a few hits, and all because he was a pathetic drunk. This didn't stop her, along with anything else she faced, and she strives to be the best she can, and get out of Forks, or at least away from her uncle. If you mention the names of her family, or if you mention mother, father, or sister, she gets really quiet. She is very reserved for the reason of losing her family.
