The One Behind the Mask
Alias: Blackie Roleplay Experience: I've been role playing for a while now. While I'm not sure of the exact amount of time, I should say for at least a good two and a half years. ^^ Activity Level: I'm pretty active, although sometimes I do happen to like... blank out. Sometimes I'm gone for long periods of time -- when I am, however, I'll inform you all. RP Sample [for Warriors]: Everything was dark, with a layer of silence covering it all. The sky was a midnight blue color, slowly beginning to fade to a lighter shade of blue as the first light of the sun's tiara of rays began to shine. As the sun began its trek up into the sky, small creatures began awakening, this fact detectable by a faint rustling in the underbrush, as well as everywhere else. A few notes of pure, sweet birdsong cut through the silence, weaving into an intricate little melody that was rather captivating.
A pair of eyes, a bright, emerald color flickered open, then snapped shut again as they tried to shut out the golden sunlight streaming through the mouth of the cave. Still, there was, in truth, no escaping the fact that she had duties toward her Clan and she needed to fulfill them. After all, being a medicine cat -- that was an extremely important role that was vital for a Clan to survive, even if it didn't always feel like it. Day in, day out, her life involved endless picking of herbs and sorting them, as well as having to apply them to cats who received injuries either because they were being reckless, or because there had actually been a true amount of danger that they had succumbed to.
Well, this she-cat wasn't exactly complaining, but it did get tiresome once in a while. Forcing her eyes open, she heaved herself to her paws. Padding out of her den at a brisk pace, she made her way to the fresh-kill pile. It wasn't as full as she would've liked for the sake of the Clan, but it was good enough. Selecting a relatively regular sized vole for herself, she settled down near the edge of Camp. Lowering her head, she took a few, dainty bites out of the meat, savoring the taste that filled her mouth.
When she finished, she buried the bones. Sitting straight with her tail curling around her slender frame to rest in front of her, she raised her right forepaw and ran her rough, pink tongue along it. Putting it down poised ever so gently so that its chances of picking up dirt currently were much reduced, she turned her head to also give her ivory colored pelt a few licks. Continuing this, she groomed herself for a few moments before setting off into the forest surrounding the Clan's habitat known as their Camp.
Sweeping her gaze across the large amounts of foliage sprayed out everywhere in the forest, she took in the regular, scenic sites that she always saw when she was off to go do something in the medicinal area. A creek burbled along, its faint song somehow rather cheerful and uplifting to her. For a brief moment, her eyes flickered to the large maple tree which was somewhat of a landmark of the territory.
A gentle breeze pulled through at a placid pace, adding to the serenity and tranquility that the place seemed to be underneath. The large abundance of leaves growing on the trees acted as somewhat of a sieve for the sun's rays, causing only splotches of the light to get through. All in all, it was a rather refreshing day, the temperature not too hot, nor too cold. A few opalescent wisps of clouds floated by through the azure sky, but other than that, there were no hints that rain would be falling today.
It was another day. In other words, today was the tomorrow that everyone hadn't been thinking about yesterday. Or perhaps today was the yesterday that cats tomorrow would be reminiscing over. Who knew?
Contemplating facts like this were this feline's special area, as she had a lot of time to herself sometimes, being a medicine cat. Another day it was indeed -- another long day of finding herbs and using them.
One could say that Ivorywing was a little less than thrilled.
Face Claim:
Just who do you think you are? [told in first person]
Full Name: Alice Cullen Age: Technically, I'm 19. It's kind of sad that I have to say 'technically.' I thought women weren't supposed to lie about their age until they were 30. But then again... Gender: Oh, I'd say around the feminine side, no? Sexuality: Straight. Occupation: Jobs are no fun [n/a]. Grade: -cough- First year of college. Species: Vampire [because they're just that awesome, eh?]
Look This Way [told in third person]
Eye Color: Alice's eyes are a deep, gold color that gets darker as she gets thirstier. The darkest they can get is a pure black -- nothing else. The size of them is rather large, with deep, purple shadows underneath. Hair Color and Style: It truly is Alice's hair that proves how much of a wild person she can be. Her hair is a black color, cut short and spiky, giving her that... random, awesome party girl look. Build: Alice is the owner of a petite frame, along with small and somewhat dainty features, although you can't really judge a book by it's cover [psst, she's anything but quiet and shy like you'd expect a small person to be]. Skin Tone: Just like a normal vampire's, Alice's skin is pale, and can sometimes be somewhat considered abnormally pale to those who think it's strange. Height: 4'9" Weight: 95lbs. Piercings or Tattoos: None Clothing Style: It's kind of hard to say for sure what Alice's clothing style is, as it happens to vary a lot, due to the fact that she spends an endless amount of time shopping. The only thing you can truly put a finger on is that she always makes sure that she looks nice. Honestly, she's not afraid to try a different style of clothing -- bright, flashy colors don't scare her, and she's willing to try them out.
This is Who I Am [told in third person]
Likes: From just a few days spent with her, you can easily understand that Alice likes shopping a lot -- especially shopping at large and expensive malls. Having Bella has brought her a pretty large amount of joy, as she can dress up Bella however she wants, which is kind of less than can be said about her other 'sister,' Rosalie. If all she liked was shopping, however, Alice would be one shallow person. She also has sentimental values -- she obviously likes her family and cares for them deeply. She is often teased by Edward, especially when she does something to Bella. Alice finds it rather... amusing, actually. Dislikes: Like all vegetarian vampires [although there aren't many...], she doesn't like the smell of blood that much. She hates having to be thirsty -- it gets in the way of so many things [like shopping!]. Strengths: Alice has better speed and strength than humans, obviously due to the fact that she's a vampire. Fighting for her comes rather easily because she has her special little sight ability that allows her to know what her opponent is going to do a split second before, allowing her to make the correct move. Sometimes these moves involve something as simple as just stepping to the right or left the smallest amount, which is rather helpful, as it doesn't really waste any energy that could be spent for when the battle gets harder. Weaknesses: As for as Alice's sight is concerned, she can't view everything. She can't exactly pinpoint the true outcome of everything, as someone has to make their decision for sure before she can determine what will happen. Also, there are other holes in her sight -- werewolves. She cannot view them whatsoever, showing that her sight can just as easily fail just as easily as it can work for her. Personality: Alice can easily be described as a bubbly and cheerful person vampire. When she gets caught up in the moment, she doesn't really listen to anyone else -- she just goes ahead to do it her way, without a second thought. Some might describe this as being headstrong, while others might believe that it's just Alice. It truly does depend on the way you look at it. You can easily see and say that Alice is of the affectionate type from the way she treats Bella as her own sister. She is also adventurous, which can be found out from the way she shops for this outfit and that one, and the one over there, and... Optimistic and always assuring those that she plans large events for that everything is going to go fine, Alice, in the end, is a big handful, despite her small stature. She's extremely energetic, and kind of just keeps on going on and on forever, never stopping. While she's the type of person people sometimes like to be around, there are other times when she's at the height of her energy and it can make you feel slightly... intimidated of her. She has some difficulty trying to stop herself from overdoing things, and it takes a lot of restraint to make her stop. Technically, the characteristics of her personality can somewhat be considered like a puppy's -- playful, sometimes not always taking things as serious as people want you to take them, and just kind of... lovable. Family: What remains of her human family is her niece -- her sister Cynthia's daughter. However, now as a vampire, the Cullens are her kin. Carlisle and Esme are her father and mother, while Emmet and Rosalie are her adopted brother and sister. Jasper is her spouse, and Bella is basically like another sister. History: In truth, Alice cannot remember much about her human history, therefore it is somewhat of a mystery. Eventually, it's found out that she was born in 1901 in Biloxi, Mississippi, where she actually also had a sister, Cynthia. She was kept in an asylum because even when she was human, she had strange premonitions which later on led to her sight as a vampire. Alice foresaw meeting Jasper in a diner, allowing her to go there and wait for him. Being open and bold, she immediately spoke to him, saying that she had been waiting for him for a while. Probably rather bemused, Jasper responded politely, but, of course, Alice didn't really care for small talk. She simply held her hand out to him -- an offering, if you will. The two were companions for a while and eventually fell in love with each other. Although they don't really flounce around to show off their being together, it's still there in a more quiet way. Now a part of the Cullen family, Alice has the role of somewhat keeping Jasper in check [as she's protective of him], and she uses her powers to try to keep everyone else in the family in check, too, although their are certainly no guarantees. Life with the Cullens is good -- it's actually pretty normal, as normal as being a part of the largest covens of vegetarian vampires can be -- and with the awesome yellow Porsche that she acquired, Alice is pretty content. Power: Power, power, power. In Alice's case, her powers were carried over from the human world, except they were largely intensified. When she was human, she had somewhat faint premonitions. Now turned into a vampire, she has somewhat the gift of a 'sight' in which she can predict the outcome of things, but only after that decision is made for sure in someone's mind. How you became a vampire: Alice was one of the only two people to escape being tracked by James. Even still, she didn't remain human -- she was changed into a vampire by one who worked at the asylum in order to protect her.
